About Instructor:
Sky Lilah uses art to promote a sense of mind and body well-being. Not only is Sky an accomplished and internationally recognized artist whose work has been sold at large art fairs and well recognized auction houses as well as to individual collectors, she is also the Managing Director of the Vancouver Art Foundation. In this role she has helped countless other artists to gain exposure, sales and funding opportunities. In 2019 she founded her company SKYLILAH which provides personal and business development and functions as the publishing house for her line of courses and workbooks. As a registered holistic nutritionist, personal trainer, group fitness, yoga, and spin instructor, Sky is able to bring all her talent and skill together to create a very humanistic and well-rounded teaching style that is an empowering experience for her students. Creativity is something that permeates all areas of her life. She expresses herself by using an abundance of color in her work. Most of Sky’s work belies the duality of the two hemispheres of her brain coming together in perfect harmony. The organized, methodical analyst coupled with the wildly uninhibited hippie-child who uses palette knives, squeeze bottles and literally anything within arm’s reach when the spirit strikes to create her pieces. In 2018 Sky expanded her lifelong art practice to include teaching art classes to both youth and adults. A fun, creative and productive experience is exactly what you can expect from attending any of Sky’s classes and is not to be missed!
